There are eight primary schools spread all over Slovenia,
and three cultural institutions: Kinodvor, A society for
story revival called 2 Koluta (2 reels) and the institution
named Bunker.
And what do they all have in common?
The eleven partners have dared to undertake the adventorous
project which was at a certain point named Kulturstik
(Culturecontact/connection). The idea of the project
was to research new ways of cultural education.
Each partner will contribute what they know best.
Kinodvor presents the films, The Old Electric Power
Plant introduces contemporary dance and performances,
The society 2 Koluta presents cartoons and comics.
It would be very difficult to describe the differences
and similarities between these artistic forms which will
be the subject of research and presentation in Kulturstik.
But the fact is that up to now they haven't been dealt
with enough at our schools and they all have one thing
in common: any expressive means and sense organs are
far more important than words.
