1.
BEGINNINGS
In this project individuals and institutions that
hadn't met before have been joined, so we had to get in touch,
get acquanted first. Katarina and Urška visited each class
and explained them our future plans.

2.
THE LOGOTYPE CONTEST
Our very successful early creative work inspired us. That
was the reason to give you, the pupils, our first challenge:
the logotype contest.
It was difficult to choose the most inventive suggestions
among those which arrived. To make the best solution, a
group of experts was asked to help us.

3.
WATCHING THE FILM
People working at Ljubljana town cinema Kinodvor wanted
to show you a little more artistic
and, contents concerning, a bit more demanding films as
you are used to watch. Nearly all
schools, except two of them, decided to watch Persepolis.
It is based on the eponymous comic
novel and it is animated.
The Primary School Prestranek
chose A million dollars doll, a shocking film, directed
by Clint Eastwood. The
Miran Jarc Primary School decided to watch A Little Migratory
Bird, a half documentary film which shows the life of ethnic
minority in Ireland.

4.
SHOW YOUR FACE!
You visited Ljubljana for the second time in order
to acquaint yourselves with a modern theatre. We are absolutely
sure that you have already been familiar with a classic
one which is based on a script, and typically involves
plots and twists. The performance »Show your face« performed
by the Betontanc group and by Latvian animators Umka.LV
is a typical modern theatrical performance highlighting
the relations between an individual and society. These
relations are portrayed through the main character – a
childish coat. Nobody could reveal us more about an individual's
freedom, willingness, beliefs and ideals, fear and love
than for the coat itself which has no face and can move
around only if it is moved by someone else. Although a
world, full of violence, persecution and destruction is
spread ahead of us, the main character provides us with
an opportunity to find honesty, tenderness and love in
it. Gloomy atmosphere that is present throughout the performance
is constantly softened by live music coming from the Duo
Silence and a Latvian saxophonist Ugis Vitins.

5.
WORKSHOPS
The next step of Kulturstik were workshops where
you could search for details, different ways of artistic
creations
with experienced mentors.

6.
